  TIPA 85 % is commercial grade product in water (10%-15 %) and a mixture of isomers (MIPA-Monoisopropanolamine < 3 % and DIPA- Diisopropanolamine < 5 %), with faint ammoniacal odour. It is a hydramine compound containing both amine and hydroxyl group.

  Applications
   
  In Cement & Concrete field, as a grinding-aid, enhances the grinding efficiency, resulting in increase mill output and substantial power saving. Used as auxiliary agents in concrete milling. It helps in accelerating the hardening rate in low concentrations while high concentrations have retarding effect on hardening.
   
  One of the components in Pigment Dispersants, Agrochemicals formulations, surfactants formulations, Corrosion Inhibitor & antioxidant in Metal Working Fluids.
   
  An useful cross linking agent in Polyurethanes, as it improves the quality of the foam.
  In isoprene based Rubber, it is useful as chain terminator.
  In Textile field finds application as Softener.
