We are a reliable supplier of Indonesian white round cardamom (Java Cardamom). Cardamom has a strong, unique taste, with an intensely aromatic, resinous fragrance. Black cardamom has a distinctly more smokey, though not bitter, aroma, with a coolness some consider similar to mint.
 
In the seeds of round cardamom from Java (KAPULAGA), the content of essential oil is lower (2 to 4%), and the oil contains mainly 1,8 cineol (up to 70%) plus b-pinene (16%); furthermore, a-pinene, a-terpineol and humulene were found.
