DS Liquid’s aluminum flux is a metallurgical auxiliary material (additives) designed for the melting and refining of recycled aluminum and secondary aluminum.
Mg Reducer/remover is a flux designed to reduce magnesium content in molten aluminum, enabling precise control of alloy composition and stable melt quality


DS Liquid’s Mg Reducer is developed for secondary aluminum and non-ferrous metal melting processes to effectively and consistently reduce magnesium content in molten aluminum.
While magnesium plays an important role in aluminum alloys, excessive Mg can cause increased oxidation, surface defects, and processing instability.
Mg Reducer selectively reacts with magnesium in the melt, floating Mg compounds to the surface for easy removal.
The product allows accurate calculation and control of the Mg reducing ratio, delivering stable performance regardless of the initial magnesium content.
During treatment, Mg Reducer forms a protective salt layer on the molten surface, helping prevent oxidation and capturing non-metallic inclusions to stabilize the molten bath.
The product range is supplied as Na-based powder formulations, designed to operate reliably at temperatures of 700–730°C or above.
Stable reactivity, anti-agglomeration properties, and easy handling ensure safe and efficient on-site operation.
