DS Liquid’s aluminum flux is a metallurgical auxiliary material (additives) designed for the melting and refining of recycled aluminum and secondary aluminum.
Alkaline Metal Reducer is a flux designed to reduce calcium (Ca) and sodium (Na) content in molten aluminum, enabling stable alloy composition control and improved melt quality.


DS Liquid’s Alkali Metal Reducer is developed for secondary aluminum and non-ferrous metal melting processes to effectively remove calcium and sodium, even at trace levels.
Residual Ca and Na in molten aluminum can lead to increased oxidation, gas generation, surface defects, and unstable casting behavior.
This product selectively reacts with these alkaline metals, allowing accurate calculation and control of the reducing ratio.
In addition to alkaline metal removal, the flux helps eliminate non-metallic inclusions and impurities, while delivering superior degassing and oxidation control, resulting in improved melt cleanliness and metal recovery.
The formulation minimizes fume generation during use, ensuring safe and productive operation, and produces dry, easily separable dross for efficient post-treatment and metal recovery.
The product range includes Non-Na-based and Na-based powder formulations, designed to operate reliably at temperatures of 700–730°C or above.
