Form Traveller
The form traveler
is a load-bearing frame that moves by sliding or rolling along the top of the bridge deck. It is anchored and suspended on the completed beam section and is used for various operations, including formwork installation, reinforcement, placement of pre-stressed pipes, concrete pouring, pre-stress tensioning, and grouting for the next beam section. Once one segment's cycle is complete, the form traveler advances and is secured to perform the suspended grouting for the next segment, continuing this process
Overview
The overhead form traveler offers several advantages, including a simple structure, well-defined load distribution, spacious operational area beneath the main frame, and ease of installation and removal.
To facilitate forward movement, the form traveler is equipped with wheels mounted on bearings, significantly reducing frictional resistance. Additionally, stainless steel plates are welded to the rails, minimizing friction between the sliding bearings and rails during movement. These features simplify and expedite the movement cycle of the form traveler, making it easy and efficient to operate.
In terms of safety, the Zolo form traveler is equipped with a walking protection system, ensuring complete safety during operation. It's designed to be safe, user-friendly, and practical.
The Zolo stayed-cable cantilever traveler is specifically designed for large-scale stayed-cable cantilever bridges with wide bridge decks and heavy, long segments. The majority of the components are concentrated on the bottom frame and walking system, eliminating the need for a mainframe. The lifting process is carried out by the bridge’s stay cables. Compared to other types, the stayed-cable cantilever traveler is heavier in individual weight.
Zolo services include installation on site, dismantling at the end of the project and supervision of launching. Furthermore, a long-term site assistance is granted
