Description: Colorless liquid. Melting point -51℃, boiling point 92-93℃, relative density (20/20℃) 0.785, refractive index (nD20) 1.3902. Miscible with ethanol and ether, slightly soluble in water.Naturally found in citrus essential oils such as orange and lemon. When highly diluted, it has an apple-like aroma; at concentrations below 10 ppm, it has a peach-like aroma. It is permitted for use as an edible flavoring agent according to my country's GB2760-86 standard.


Applications: Primarily used in the formulation of various fruit-based flavorings.
