• Anti-FIIa and anti-FXa activity is the biochemical potency of heparin, which can be determined by chromogenic assays. Chromogenic substrates can also be used for clinical diagnostics. High-purity antithrombin and thrombin are powerful tools for the isolation and purification of certain species.

APPLICATIONS

•  Determination of the ratio of anti-FXa activity to anti-FIIa activity of unfractionated heparin and low molecular weight heparin. 
• Accurate detection of anti-IIa activity of unfractionated heparin and low molecular weight heparin.  Accurate detection of anti-Xa activity of unfractionated heparin and low molecular weight heparin.  Assess antithrombin activity of chemically synthesized substances or tissue extracts.
•  Production of kits for automated blood analyzers.
