MY017 is an optical probe with infrared and USB interfaces. It's widely applied to meter communication, such as data reading, parameterization, in production line, on-site service and more. this optical probe compatibles with ANSI C12.18-1996 (U.S.A.) and AS 1284.10.2-1993 (Australia).

INTRODUCTION
The OPTO optical port reader is a device that enables communication between any type of Round Socket Energy Meter equipped with a port according to ANSI Type-2 C12.18-1996 and a reading device equipped with an USB2.0 port. The OPTO reader can be used with both portable and stationary meter test equipment. In case of using OPTO reader with stationary test equipment, it gets connected to the system through the USB2.0 port. With standard ANSI Type-2 C12.18-1966 protocol, meter’s data and register states can be read. Tariff changing and other features are additionally available if the customer reveals constructor codes for accessing the functions, like passwords, specific protocols etc.
