Overview DIN1.4449 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that possesses excellent corrosion resistance. Of all the 300 series stainless steels, alloy 1.4449 is the most corrosion resistant and has the highest tensile and creep strength properties at elevated temperatures. The high molybdenum content the alloy’s superior pitting resistance.Characteristic: High corrosion resistance:1.4449 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, especially in chloride environments.
