Tactile dome switches, also called snap domes or metal domes, are instantaneous contacts. Tactile dome switches are buttons with their own circuits. They are made of PET material and have text and patterns for prompts. The metal dome is installed inside and assembled with PCB or FPC. When you press the key part on the surface with your finger, the key contact is electrically connected to the corresponding part of the contact point on the lower part, thereby transmitting instructions.
