Low Carbon FerroChrome(FeCr) is an iron alloy composed of chromium and iron. It is an important alloy additive for steelmaking.
According to different carbon content, ferro chrome can be divided into high-carbon ferro chrome , low-carbonferro chrome , Micro-carbon ferro chrome .The lower the carbon content of ferro chrome, the more difficult it is to smelt, the higher the power consumption, and the higher the cost.
Ferro chrome with a carbon content of less than 2% is suitable for smelting stainless steel, acid-resistant steel andother low-carbon chromium steels. Ferrochrome with a carbon content of more than 4% is commonly used to make ball bearing steeland steel for auto parts.

Low carbon ferrochrome is used in the production of low carbon structural steel, chromium steel, alloy structural steel. Chromium steel is often used to manufacture gears, gear shafts, etc. Chromium manganese silicon steel is often used in the manufacture of high pressure fan blade, valve plate, etc.
