Granular Activated Charcoal
(GAC) is a highly porous form of activated carbon that is used in a wide range of applications, including water and air purification, gas and vapor adsorption, and chemical and pharmaceutical processing. It is produced by heating carbon-rich materials, such as coconut shells or wood, in the absence of air, which creates a highly porous material with a large surface area.
