Felt filter bags are manufactured from needle felt material in polypropylene and polyester that provide the most economic value and reliable choice for a wide range of filtration applications. By means of a depth filtration mechanism, particles penetrate and are captured throughout the depth of the filter media.


They are available in the range of 1 – 200 microns with a nominal (60-70%) efficiency.


Polypropylene and polyester are the most widely used, and have a calendered or singed external surface finish to eliminate fibers migration into the filtrate. Filter bags are available in traditional stitched form or with a fully welded construction and are fitted with a comprehensive choice of rings.
