Physical Property
Feed grade zeolite is made from clinoptilite zeolite
Use of clinoptilolite in industry and academia focuses on its ion
exchange properties having a strong exchange affinity for ammonium (NH
4+).
A typical example of this is in its use as an enzyme-based urea sensor.
It is also used as fertiliser and sold as a deodorizer in the form of
pebble-sized chunks contained in a mesh bag.
Research is generally focussed around the shores of the Aegean
Sea due to the abundance of natural clinoptilolite in easily accessible
surface deposits.
Main Application
1.Feed grade Zeolite powder is mainly used as additive of feed. With
adsorption property and ion exchange capacity, it can adsorb ammonia to
slow the nutrition through alimentary canal and harmful substances in
intestinal canal to improve digestion, as well as supplying several
micro and macro elements for livestock to promote yield and weight
increment and improve feed reward. It also can be used as agent for
water quality to increase yield of aquatic animals, improve meat quality
and create a favorable water environment. Additionally, Feed
grade Zeolite powder can be used in cement and compound fertilizer.
