Product DescriptionKovar is controlled expansion alloy. 29% Nickel, 17% Cobalt and the remaining balance is Iron. The expansion characteristics of Kovar match both borosilicate glass and alumina ceramics, making it one of the most popular of the controlled expansion alloys for hermetic sealing applications.

Kovar alloy are available in many shapes and dimensions,supplying semi-finished products in forms of Strip,plate & Rods.The samples are big enough (typically about 200mm in length for strip or plate) to get an understanding of the material characteristics, meanwhile custom-made sample order available ! small quantity accepted.
