Steel Cord & Split Guard Type Conveyor Belt
Application Long distance carrying, high speed, high carrying capacity, high strength and over 500m long conveyor is recommended
Features 1. Very high tension rating, it can be manufactured with about three times the tension rating of a nylon belt.
2. Short take-up travel, this is very useful on long line spans in mines
and other restricted spaces and for inclined lines.
3. Excellent trough ability, flexible and with good trough ability, ST belts hug the idlers and run straight
4. Good travel characteristics, longer belt life, the single layer construction,
good resistance to flexural fatigue and strong rubber adhesion to the steel cords enable the ST belts to run at much higher speed than multi-ply belts.
5. Strong splice, excellent splice efficiency can be obtained by the overlap splicing method
6. Internal inspection possible, the extent of any damage can be checked precisely by X-raying the belt.
